One of the world’s most popular sport games, FIFA, is coming with its new title on October 1st. The football game is bringing tons of changes with FIFA 22 this year, but PC users won’t be able to experience all those adjustments since EA Sports will release two different versions of the game.
FIFA 22’s gameplay is developed with the brand new HyperMotion technology, which elevates every match across every mode in the game. However, the fresh tech will only be made available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Stadia.
PC users will have to play FIFA 22 with the same version as PlayStation 4 owners, not having access to HyperMotion.
“When we looked at what generation to put the PC game on, we looked at our fans and what capabilities they had with the hardware they have. […] In order to run the gen five game, our min spec would have been at a spot that would have left a lot of people out in the cold not being able to play the game. So we made the choice to keep the PC version of the game on the gen four version of FIFA so that we can open the doors and be inclusive to everybody who wants to play FIFA.” executive producer Aaron McHardy explained the decision in an interview with Eurogamer.
