FUTTIES is back, and the ‘Best of’ re-releases are here to headline
After EA’s Festival of FUTBall campaign accompanying the recently concluded UEFA Euro 2020 and 2021 Copa América tournaments, FIFA 21 is bringing back the FUTTIES to celebrate the cycle. This campaign is a highlight of sorts for all the best content released throughout the game’s lifespan, as well as brand new content to help players get the most out of their squads.
For starters, a Batch 1 of the ‘Best of’ re-releases has been announced by EA Sports on their Twitter, showcasing some of the rare cards you can try for while the event is ongoing. Check out the full roster below.

Besides the ‘Best Of’ batch, players also should keep an eye out for the FUTTIES Favorites, a group of players which will receive themed SBCs for a specific month as well as a popular FUT player item from the same cycle.
Player Pick Fan Votes and Derby Day Team Events
FIFA 21 FUTTIES will also bring back fan-voting events such as for FUT Player Items. Those picked will then receive Special boosted FUTTIES Winner items. For a period of 24 hours during select days, players logging in will find a special Player Pick pack that includes two Loan versions of FUTTIES nominees.
Players will choose one, which will then count towards a vote. The nominee that receives the most votes will be released via a Squad Building Challenge later that week, as an upgraded FUTTIES Winner item. Nominees who lost are still not out, though, as they still have the chance for a comeback in FUTTIES “Close Call” Player SBCs. This event will happen towards the end of the campaign.
Besides the pack voting, an active voting feature for FUTTIES will also be made available in the Objectives menu. This Active Team Event will allow players to select one of two FUTTIES nominees. You can then view the nominee’s Event Objectives, and complete these in order to help the nominee you chose to win the FUTTIES vote. The nominee with the highest EXP at the end of the Team Event will be the one to receive the vote, as well as a special FUTTIES Winner item available via Objectives after the Team Event concludes.
Weekend League and Tiered Engagement Rewards
Two sets of special tiered rewards will be available during the duration of FUTTIES. The first is for the Weekend League, which contains Team of the Season items, all of which are listed below:
There will also be reward packs for players based on their overall engagement with FUT 21. FIFA players will have the duration of FUTTIES to claim their first set of rewards and catch up on the next two. Here is the first set:
The next sets of engagement rewards will be based on how many FUT session days players will log in during two periods: from July 16 to July 25 and July 16 to August 9.
