A brand-new weapon called the Grab-itron, also called the “Gravity Gun,” has arrived in Fortnite and is bound to cause chaos across the island.
What is Grab-itron in Fortnite?
Epic Games has released Fortnite’s new 17.30 update ahead of the Rift Tour and the long-awaited Ariana Grande Rift Tour performance. The previously featured weapon, the Grab-itron in Fortnite, is one of the more significant additions of this update for Fortnite.
Players can use the gun to lift objects and hurl them around the map. The Grab-itron’s damage is increased based on the size and kind of object; in other words, a large metal object would cause more damage than a wooden item.
However, larger objects will cover a shorter distance.
Where to find the Grab-itron?
You can locate the Grab-itron in chests, but you’ll have a better chance by landing on top of Abductors or receiving it as a prize inside the Mothership after playing the orb-collecting mini-game. This is the most consistent way of these options as every other opportunity is largely up to chance and luck.
Nonetheless, if you’d like to take your chances with Abductors, they are a relatively easy find. When you jump into a game, simply open your map, and you will see three Abductors marked on your map. Where they appear is different in every map, but they always spawn above named POIs.
How to use the Grab-itron in Fortnite
The Grab-itron is simple to use, but it does not operate like most other weapons in Fortnite. You must first aim and fire at the thing you wish to grasp, after which you may move it about in the air by shifting your aim.
You can rotate everything you’ve grabbed by pressing the reload button. Finally, you may throw the thing you’ve acquired by hitting fire once again.
This is an excellent method for destroying UFOs or structures. Players can also still move with the object held up in the beam, but larger objects will hinder movement speed.
The Grab-itron’s stats in Fortnite appear to be lacking on paper. however, this is because its strength is determined by the object it picks up.
The gun doesn’t have a consistent DPS and can’t crit because of this distinctive flair. Besides, it is quite difficult to use this weapon. It is viable only for players who understand its intricacies well.
