CS:GO closed its competitive season with a serious spectacle at IEM Cologne 2022, which we’re sure has contributed to this player break feeling much longer than it has been. Mercifully, however, a return to action is on the cards once again with the upcoming BLAST Fall Groups. When Is The BLAST Fall Groups?
BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022 kicks off on August 19th, 2022 with the Group Stage, running through to the 21st.
The Single-Elimination Bracket will begin on the 25th and run until the 27th of August 2022.
The Last Chance Single-Elimination Bracket will be held on the 28th of August 2022, the last day of the event.
BLAST Fall Groups 2022 Format
Making up the first leg of the Fall BLAST Premier circuit, the Fall Groups format sees 12 teams locking horns across three groups of four.
The tournament will be hosted on LAN, with the group stage being held as a double-elimination bo1 used to determine the seeding for the Single-Elimination Play-In Stage.
The Play-In Stage will be three single-elimination gauntlets of bo3 matches, with the winners of each gauntlet automatically qualifying for the BLAST Fall Finals. Second and third-placed teams will move into the Last Chance stage, whilst the losers will automatically be relegated to the BLAST Fall Showdown.

- All matches are Bo1
- All teams advanced to the seeded Play-In Stage
