DRX, a Korean esports company, recently announced the acquisition of eDreamWork Korea—the parent company of the esports organization, Vision Strikers.
DRX, which was founded in 2012 and rebranded in 2019, is a Korean esports company that is well known for its professional League of Legends team. Upon completion of the acquisition of Vision Strikers, a fellow Korean esports organization, DRX will have teams in League of Legends, VALORANT, WarCraft 3, and Tekken.
Vision Strikers is a relatively new team that was created in 2020. However, their performance in VALORANT is unparalleled and shows potential, and they show promise with their legendary players: Moon and KNEE. Sharing the notion of ‘enjoying the challenge’ we are excited to work together heading forward, and will support our new teams fully to help them perform at the highest level.
DRX’s CEO, Sangin Choi.
Founded in 2020, Vision Strikers has seen remarkable success across many esports titles. Especially in VALORANT, where they quickly became the best VALORANT team in Korea after following their top 12 finish at VALORANT Champions this year. The Vision Strikers VALORANT team also held the VALORANT record for the most game victories in a row until F4Q defeated them on the 15th of April.
Not only will DRX gain this amazing VALORANT team, but they will also acquire the two-time EVO champion and Tekken player Jaemin “KNEE” Bae, and WarCraft 3 player Jaeho “Moon” Jang.
DRX is a prominent esports organization that has a long and respected history. We are honoured to join such an organisation and move forward together. To all of our fans who supported the Vision Strikers brand, I thank you personally wholeheartedly.
Vision Strikers CEO, Can Yang.
With the acquisition of esports legends Moon and KNEE, as well as the talented VALORANT team, DRX is in a position to become one of the most dominant esports organizations in Korea.
