Dota 2 has finally received a long-awaited update called The New Frontiers. The 7.33 update brings a lot of exciting changes and one of the most anticipated and celebrated are map changes.
Here is what to expect in the new revamped map after the Dota 2 7.33 update.
Dota 2 new map: 40% larger
The Dota 2 world went through a monumental event in the trailer released by Valve. We saw a base race that ended with the ancient exploding, then cracking and expanding the Dota 2 world.
The map is now 40% larger than the original one. This is the first time Valve decided to change the size of the map. The maps are now populated with more buildings and neutral creep camps.
Roshan now has two homes
Roshan apparently sold his house by the river and just invested in two more properties. The big, bad creep has now moved to the deeper jungle of the map, one in the northwest and one in the southeast.
Roshan will travel between houses. where he will stay on the Radiant side during the day and move to the Dire side during nighttime.
He has also grown stronger and no longer drops Aghanim’s Scepter. Now, Cheese is going to be dropped on the second Roshan’s death. On the third death, Roshan will drop Aghanim’s Scepter when killed on the Radiant side and a Refresher Shard when killed on the Dire side.

Twin Gates – Roshan’s personal teleportation gate
We now have a permanent teleportation building on the new map. The Twin Gates can be found in each corner of the map nearby the Roshan pits.
Roshan will travel to the other side of the map using the Twin Gates. Players can also use the portal to teleport instantly across the map.

New refreshments by the Lotus Pools
The Lotus Pools are located near each end of the river. It will provide supplements in the form of stackable fruits, which will give the players more HP and mana.

New mini-bosses called Tormentors
A new, powerful, neutral creep will spawn near the base of each side at minute 20:00. The Tormentors will not move or attack, but it is equipped with a mega shield. The shield will reflect 70% of the damages inflicted as Magical damage.
The Tormentors will, later on, be stronger every time they respawn. They will grant Aghanim’s Shard to one of the two lowest net-worth allied heroes.

New super ward to give you a better vision of the new Dota 2 map
Watchers are neutral ward that grants 800-radius vision over their area for 7 minutes. There are eight Watchers on the map that can be activated – or destroyed, by the players. The team who kills Roshan will then turn every Watcher on its side.

Sneak back into your basement with the Defenders Gate
The base used to be accessible only by the three openings at the Tier 3 towers. Now, the team on each side gets a not-so-secret force field at the back of the base. The Defenders Gate stands to let the team through to the base and keep the enemy out.

Two new runes
Finally, new runes! A new Power Rune called the Shield Rune is located at the river, where it will give the players 50% of their Max HP as a barrier.
On the other hand, a special rune called the Wisdom Rune will grant XP boosts. It will be located nearby each Tormentor.

Twelve new creep camps
There used to be nine creep camps on each side of the map. Now, with the new Dota 2 7.33 update, there will be thirty creep camps altogether.
Most of the neutral camps will be located in these four newly named areas: The Well, The Graveyard, The Statue, and The Mines. Each area will give the players a special buff while being in the area.
The Logitech G502 X line features a new way to game with its innovative hybrid switches for speed, precision, and lightweight.
The followings are the number of camps in each area and the special buff received:
- The Well
There are two Hard and one Medium neutral camps. It is located below the Radiant Safe Lane under the Tier 2 tower. Players will receive Well Wishes buff, which adds +1.5 Mana Regen to the hero. - The Mines
There are two Hard and one Medium neutral camps. It is located above Dire Safe Lane over the Tier 2 tower. Players will receive Mighty Mines buff, which adds +4 Health Regen to the hero. - The Statue
There is one Ancient neutral camp in this area. It is located on the left of Radiant Offlane between the Tier 1 and Tier 2 towers. Players will receive the Stalwart Statue buff, which adds +2 Armor to the hero. - The Graveyard

Players will receive the Graveyard Glyphs buff, which adds +5 Attack Damage to the hero. - The remaining four camps are Easy and Medium camps located near the new Outposts and Twin Gates.
