The second tour of Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) is wrapping up with the upcoming ESL One Berlin Major 2023. We will be seeing eighteen teams compete for the $500,000 USD prize pool and a chance to secure their invitations to The International 2023.
The Major will be ongoing from April 26 to May 7 in Berlin, Germany. Let’s take a look at all the teams qualified for the Dota 2 Berlin Major.
Team Liquid

Back-to-back DPC Western Europe (WEU) champion is thriving ahead of Berlin Major. They started Tour 2 shakily with a loss against Gaimin Gladiators, but they spear ahead and took down every other team in the region.
Previously in Lima Major, Team Liquid had to suddenly replace Samuel “Boxi” Svahn in the middle of the tournament due to a medical emergency.
They ended up in second place, and this time for Berlin Major, they surely are hoping to finally be crowned a Major champion.
Team Liquid will be competing in Berlin Major with this roster:

Tundra Esports
The TI11 champion proves themselves to still be a dominating team after their flawless performance last year.
However, during Lima Major, Tundra Esports had a disappointing run which ended them in the 9th-12th place.
They ended up in second place in WEU DPC Tour 2 after a tiebreaker against Gaimin Gladiators.
Tundra Esports will be competing in Berlin Major with this roster:

Gaimin Gladiators
The Lima Major champion went into WEU DPC Tour 2 with a ravage. Unfortunately, they fell to Tundra Esports and had a surprising loss against the fresh-from-Div-II Ooredoo Thunders.
With another loss against Tundra Esports in a tiebreaker, they ended up in a respectable third place in the region.
They will definitely not go down easily in the upcoming Berlin Major and will try their best to lift another trophy this season.

OG
OG had such a rough time in the WEU DPC Tour 2 and ended up at the bottom of the standings during the early weeks of the tournament.
However, OG has managed to win the tiebreaker for fourth place, which lands them a spot in the Berlin Major.
They had previously skipped the Lima Major after losing an intense tiebreaker series, and this time the universe is on their side, and we will be seeing them competing in their first Major of the season.
OG will be competing in Berlin Major with this roster:

ex-HellRaisers
The HellRaisers went uncontested throughout the Eastern Europe (EEU) DPC Tour 2.
Unfortunately, days after securing the invites to Berlin Major, the CIS team dropped their roster, citing that the organization “is not ready to be active in esports.”
The roster will stay the same and will now compete under the name ex-HellRaisers.

Team Spirit

The team is a force to be reckoned with, gliding with ease in the EEU DPC Tour 2.
However, they stumbled in the last match of the tour against the dominating ex-HellRaisers, placing them in second place in the region.
Team Spirit will be competing in Berlin Major with this roster:

BetBoom Team
The Russian team had green strikes throughout the EEU DPC Tour 1.
However, going into Tour 2, they were overpowered by ex-HellRaisers and Team Spirit, placing third in the region.
Led by TI10 champion TORONTOTOKYO, the team is looking to redeem themselves after being eliminated early in the Lima Major.
BetBoom Team will be competing in Berlin Major with this roster:

Xtreme Gaming
Previously, Xtreme Gaming did not qualify for the last Lima Major.
The Chinese team then went through a roster change going into the second tour of China (CN) DPC by replacing Xiong “Pyw” Jiahan with Hu “Kaka” Liangzhi.
Xtreme Gaming went on to stomp everyone in the tournament, ending up first in the region after a tiebreaker against PSG.LGD.
Xtreme Gaming will be competing in Berlin Major with this roster:

PSG.LGD
PSG.LGD still proves to be the terrifying team they are known for, sweeping every team in the CN DPC except for a surprising loss against Invictus Gaming.
They suffered an early elimination in Lima Major, making everyone question whether this is the end of their reign over the Dota 2 competitive world.
Despite the rough patch, they are looking to rise to power once again in the upcoming Berlin major.
PSG.LGD will be competing in Berlin Major with this roster:

Invictus Gaming
The veteran Chinese team had previously escaped relegation to Division II of the CN DPC Tour 1.
They then went through a roster change for Tour 2, taking in Pyw from Xtreme Gaming and Li “项羽” Longwu, who was loaned from PSG.LGD.
Invictus Gaming went on to take third place after a tiebreaker against Team Aster.
Invictus Gaming will be competing in their first Major of the season with this roster:

Team Aster
Team Aster has always stayed among the top in the China region, and this second tour is no exception.
Despite facing much more competition with the rise of Xtreme Gaming and Invictus Gaming, they managed to land the last invite to the Berlin Major.
Previously in Lima Major, they ended up in the 7th-8th place after a good run.
Team Aster will be competing in Berlin Major with this roster:

Talon Esports
The SEA team is an international superstar with their excellent third-place result in the last Lima Major.
Going into Southeast Asia (SEA) DPC Tour 2, they were unbeatable and scored first place in the region.
They are a relentless team with aims to recreate their magical run in the Berlin Major.
Talon Esports will be competing in Berlin Major with this roster:

Execration
The Filipino team had great results on the first tour of the SEA DPC. Unfortunately, they were eliminated early in the Lima Major.
Execration went into Tour 2 with a lot to prove, and they managed to score second place after a tiebreaker with Team SMG.

Team SMG

Yeik “MidOne” Nai Zheng is back in action with Team SMG. After failing to qualify for the Lima Major, Team SMG worked harder and smarter for the second tour of SEA DPC.
They ended up in third place in the region and managed to secure the last slot for the Berlin Major.
Team SMG will be competing in Berlin Major with this roster:

TSM
TSM once again takes total control of North America (NA) DPC with another first place in the region.
Previously, they went into Lima Major as NA number 1, but unfortunately, they were knocked out of the tournament in the group stage.
They are carrying the hope of North America and definitely looking to redeem themselves in the Berlin Major.

Shopify Rebellion

The ex-Evil Geniuses is still a dominant team in the Dota 2 competitive world.
They showed total resilience in the Lima Major and managed to score a fourth place in the tournament.
In the same pattern, they were always outplayed in the regional league against TSM, placing them in yet another second place in the NA DPC Tour 2.

The South American region once again crowned beastcoast as the champion in the second tour of the season.
Beastcoast has always shown consistency and growth in the Dota 2 scene. They previously ended in 9th-12th place in Lima Major after an unfortunate series against fellow South American team Evil Geniuses.

The new Evil Geniuses strives well in the South American region.
They ended up second on both tours of the season, and they managed to secure the invite to the upcoming Berlin Major.
Previously in Lima Major, Evil Geniuses went on a rampage which ended them in the 5th-6th place after falling to Shopify Rebellion.
