After losing four games in a row in the LCS 2022 Summer Split, Dignitas decided to make three roster changes for the top side of the map.
Dignitas formed a young roster with a huge ceiling and a bright future ahead. However, things did not go as planned for Dignitas, especially in the LCS 2022 Summer Split. They have lost four games in a row in the past two weeks and the roster change announcements came at the right time. According to the announcement, Lee “Hoon” Jang-hoon, and Lawrence “eXyu” Lin Xu has been promoted to the main roster. Noh “Gamsu” Yeong-jin has been moved to the academy team and Kim “River” Dong-woo is now a Golden Guardians player.
Dignitas LCS 2022 Summer Split Roster
- Lee “Hoon” Jang-hoon
- Lawrence “eXyu” Lin Xu
- Ersin “Blue” Gören
- Trevor “Spawn” Kerr-Taylor
- Vincent “Biofrost” Wang
Gamsu made his name known during his time with the Europan giants, Fnatic. He then announced his retirement and played professional Overwatch for almost 5 years, before joining 100 Thieves Next to show his capabilities again. On the other hand, the promoted top laner, Hoon, played for the Turkish side 5 Ronin before joining Dignitas Academy.
River has been acquired by Golden Guardians. Dignitas decided to fill his shoes with the academy jungler, eXyu. Before joining Dignitas, he was a member of the C9 Amateur roster. This week will be his debut in the biggest league in the region. eXyu and Hoon were teammates in the Academy League so their chemistry should not be a problem for the side of Dignitas. However, this week will be his first time on stage with the Turkish/Belgian mid laner Blue.
Dignitas will face 100 Thieves and Counter Logic Gaming in the sixth week of LCS 2022 Summer Split. Both competitions look hard but the roster changes might work for the North American team.
