Paris Legion failed to impress their fans during the CDL 2022 Major 1 Qualifiers and decided to part ways with Jacob “Decemate” Cato before the Championship Stage.
Paris Legion had awful performances during Call of Duty League 2022 Major 1 Qualifiers. The European team failed to grab a single win in five games and finished the stage in the last spot. As a result, the organization decided to part ways with Decemate, who has been a part of the roster since the beginning of the season.
Paris Legion CDL 2022 Major 1 Qualifiers Roster
Before joining Paris Legion, Decemate played for many different teams, including New York Subliners, Seattle Surge, Los Angeles Guerrillas, Team Envy, and G2 Esports. He competed under Los Angeles Guerrillas for over ten months but failed to stick with a roster more than three months after leaving LAG. He played 15 days for Seattle Surge and only 6 days for New York Subliners.
Although his Call of Duty League experience hasn’t been the best, Decemate’s previous experiences were decent. He spent most of his time with Team Envy but also played under G2 Esports for over six months.
Paris Legion looked lost during the CDL 2022 Major 1 Qualifiers. Their first loss was against Atlanta FaZe, the strongest team in the league. The Paris representatives grabbed two maps against FaZe and most of the fans took it as a positive sign but things didn’t go as planned. Paris Legion faced four more losses against Florida Mutineers, Boston Breach, OpTic Texas, and Los Angeles Thieves, respectively.
As Decemate left Paris Legion, the French organization will compete with a different player in CDL 2022 Major 1 Championship. Currently, they are waiting for their opponent in the losers’ bracket.
