Cloud9 won the opening match of the series with Jensen’s insane backdoor. However, 100 Thieves managed to tie the series by winning the second game, thanks to Abbedagge’s massive Taliyah performance. After that point, Cloud9 played much better in the series. The third match was won with a pure macro game as there were very few team fights. Cloud9 had 8 kills and 100 Thieves had 3 at the end of the competition. C9 won the third game to lead the series, 2-1. Lastly, Jensen’s Azir was perfect as C9 won another game to close out the series in four games, 3-1.

Whichever team wins the series will face 100 Thieves and the winner of that matchup will come up against Cloud9 in the LCS 2022 Championship Grand Final.
