Raven Software and Sledgehammer Games, the developers of Call of Duty Warzone and Vanguard, have announced updates to both games today. The official release from Raven Software explains more about these preparations for the pending season launch.
Call of Duty Warzone Patch Notes
In anticipation of Season Two’s launch, the Call of Duty team is pleased to share a recent gameplay change Raven Software is making in WarzoneTM.
Following community feedback during Season One, Raven Software is reverting the standard Battle Royale Loadout Drop timing.
As part of today’s minor update, Operators should expect to see Loadout Drops available to purchase in Buy Stations at any time, rather than restricting availability during a match’s opening minutes.
This change will not affect Call of Duty: Vanguard Royale and is one of the numerous updates that all studios worked to deploy over the past two weeks and beyond.
PlayList
*The Playlist for the week of February 10th will last until February 13th due to the upcoming Season 2 launch.
GamePlay
- Loadout Drops are now available for purchase via Buy Stations at any time during a game.
- This only applies to Battle Royale. Vanguard Royale rulesets differ.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed collision issues with various elements across Caldera allowing Players to exploit/peek/shoot through them.
- Fixed an issue causing Players to freeze on the Tier Skip redemption screen.

- Panzerfaust has been modified to be more effective against Spy Planes and Counter Spy Planes
- Splash damage kills from the Panzerfaust launcher will now count towards Longshots

- Fixed a bug affecting two attachments for the Welgun, causing it to overperform

- Attack on Titan Bundle
- The Ultrahard Steel MVP Highlight no longer shows the wrong animation in the preview
- Enjoy the Retreat
- The Demo Kit Blueprint for the Type 100 no longer blocks visibility when ADS-ing with a 3-6x scope

- Smoke has been reduced (change implemented Jan 31)

- Silent Plant option now works in Private Matches
