Esports events are returning to LAN and the Call of Duty League has joined the live-action bandwagon.
LAN esports are coming back
According to the Call of Duty League’s Twitter announcement, fans will be able to live the spirit in the venue where the final will take place. Tickets are being sold via Fevo. The Stage 5 Major will take place between June 29 and August 1.
With a $59 ticket, fans will get a two-day submission and witness the competition in person. It is expected that the return of live Call of Duty will bring high engagement engagement fans will show high interest in the in-person event.
The Stage 5 Major will take place in the Esports Stadium Arlington in Texas. Fans will not have any chance to make an appearance at the venue during the Stage 5 regular season since that will still play out online, though the games will be available on the CDL’s YouTube channel as usual.
Call of Duty League Stage 5 Major: the stakes are high
This is the last Major of the 2021 CDL season and it will determine which teams will make it to the Championship Stage. Its starting date was previously pushed back to July 8. Stage 4 winners Atlanta FaZe are the favorites once again as they proved their worth during the prior stages.
FaZe, Dallas Empire, Toronto Ultra, New York Subliners and OpTiC Chicago have guaranteed themselves a spot in the championship finals but the lower seeds are still in contention.
