Tower defense meets party chaos in this physics-powered block-stacking brawler
Indie publisher Dodo Tako is bringing the chaos with Hack ’n’ Stack. This physics-fueled party game will make its public debut at Hack ’n’ Stack Gamescom 2025. Players can try it before its Steam and Nintendo Switch launch in Q2 2026. Warning: in this game, everything can become a weapon, including your friends.
What is Hack ’n’ Stack?
Hack ’n’ Stack is part tower defense, part slapstick sandbox, and all physics-powered madness. Designed for 2–4 players, it challenges you to build, defend, and demolish in local or online co-op.
Players gather resources, stack blocks, and construct outrageous fortresses, only to watch them collapse in a hail of flying enemies and flung teammates. Whether tossing blocks, flinging friends, or leading enemies into your DIY turret maze, Hack ’n’ Stack mixes strategy with pure chaos.
Key Rules
- Build barricades.
- Protect them.
- Blame your friends when it all falls apart.
Key Features
Physics-Based Mayhem: Every block, throw, and enemy counts. Players and foes alike become flying projectiles.
Creative Carnage: Build anywhere. Destroy anything. Turn the world into your weapon.
Dress to Distress: Unlock 28+ character accessories. If you’re going down in battle, at least look good doing it.
Couch or Cloud: Play local or online multiplayer. Sabotage is optional but highly encouraged.
