BRION made an impressive start to the LCK 2023 Spring Season by winning both of their games in the opening week.
The LCK 2023 Spring Season action began a while ago with first-week matches. Some teams stepped up and met the expectations while some were yet to get a single win. Surprisingly, BRION picked up two wins in the first week of the LCK 2023 Spring Season. The South Korean team took down Nongshim RedForce and Kwangdong Freecs to make an impressive start to the league.
BRION LCK 2023 Spring Season
- Park “Morgan” Ru-han
- Eom “UmTi” Seong-hyeon
- Kim “Karis” Hong-jo
- Park “Hena” Jeung-hwan
- Lee “Effort” Sang-ho
Brion made two roster changes after finishing the LCK 2022 Summer Split only with three wins and 15 losses. The team placed ninth and had poor performances. Karis and Effort joined while Lava and Delight left to join other organizations. It looks like both changes have been pretty good for the team.
Brion started the LCK 2023 Winter Season with a sweep over Nongshim RedForce. NS are a fairly weak team compared to other teams in the competition but despite that, it was an important test for Brion. Keep in mind that they were one of the worst-performing teams last year. Morgan and Hena won the MVP awards in the matches.
Secondly, Brion’s second win was against Kwangdong Freecs. Even though it wasn’t a sweep like the first win, the South Korean team still finished the job. Karis and UmTi were the MVP award winners of the series for the side of Brion. In all four match wins, a different Brion player won the MVP award which means that every player on the roster is giving their all.
Brion will come up against Gen.G and Liiv SANDBOX in the second week of the LCK 2023 Spring Season. We will see whether they will be able to keep their undefeated title.
