The LCS representatives, Dignitas, have announced that they have parted ways with the mid laner Ersin “Blue” Gören.
Dignitas formed a roster that had both experience and eagerness before the start of the 2022 season. However, the organization failed to achieve anything worthy and missed qualifying for an international event again. It was expected they to make roster changes ahead of the LCS 2023 Spring season and the organization is keen on rebuilding its roster. According to the latest news, the half Turkish half Belgian mid laner of Dignitas, Blue has parted ways with the organization and he will not be a part of the team next year.

Blue is a Belgium-born Turkish player whose professional career started back in 2017. He first played for Arctic Gaming for a short amount of time. Blue then joined 1907 Fenerbahçe Espor’s academy team to compete in the Turkish Academy League. He shortly got noticed thanks to his dominant performance. Especially the way he plays assassins was appreciated by the fans and he got himself a place in the main roster after a year. Blue competed for 1907 Fenerbahçe Espor for one and a half years and won the Turkish League. However, he was unable to attend MSI due to COVID-19 restrictions.
His dominance was noticed by the LEC teams and he signed a contract with SK Gaming. Blue spent one year in Europe before flying overseas to join Dignitas. After a year with the organization, he is a free agent now. His next stop is still not clear but he was an important piece of the DIG roster last year so he is expected to compete at the highest level.
Now Dignitas will look for a new mid laner. It is rumored that LCS teams are lowering their budgets for next season. We might see an academy player taking Blue’s responsibilities.
