The Eidskallen Event has arrived in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Zombies Season 5, giving players the chance to earn exclusive cosmetic rewards simply by climbing the leaderboard on the new Eidskallen Lighthouse Survival map.
Unlike previous Zombies leaderboard events, the Eidskallen Event features recurring three-hour leaderboard brackets, allowing players to compete multiple times throughout the event and continually improve their rewards.

Your rewards are determined by your highest leaderboard placement during each three-hour competition. Every time you achieve a better finish than before, you’ll unlock additional rewards.

How the Eidskallen leaderboard works
The event places players into randomized 30-player leaderboard groups, where everyone competes to earn the highest score during a three-hour window.
Leaderboard points are earned by:
- Eliminating zombies
- Completing map objectives
- Finishing T.E.D.D. Tasks
- Clearing special rounds
- Defeating tougher zombie enemies
At the end of each three-hour leaderboard, rewards are distributed based on your placement.
One of the biggest improvements over previous leaderboard events is that there is no limit on entries. Players can join as many leaderboard cycles as they like throughout the week-long event, giving everyone multiple opportunities to earn better rewards.
Tips for climbing the leaderboard
If you’re aiming for the top rewards, timing and efficiency are key.
Starting a run immediately after a new three-hour leaderboard begins gives you the best chance to compete before scores become difficult to catch.
Other helpful strategies include:
- Survive into higher rounds where enemies award more points.
- Complete every available map objective whenever possible.
- Finish T.E.D.D. Tasks for additional score.
- Learn the Eidskallen Lighthouse layout to move quickly between objectives.
- In co-op, coordinate with teammates to maximize eliminations and objective completion.
Since leaderboard entries are unlimited, don’t be afraid to retry if your first run doesn’t secure the placement you’re aiming for.

- 9:00 AM PT
- 11:00 AM CT
- 12:00 PM ET
The event concludes on July 30 at the same time.
