The Camo Costume Party Event is now live in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone, giving players a new set of weapon challenges to complete during Season 6: The Haunting.
The limited-time event features challenges across Multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame, and Warzone. Players can earn standard weapon camos by completing individual challenges, while finishing an entire set in a mode unlocks an animated Mastery Camo.
There are also two additional rewards to chase: the Arcblade melee weapon and the hidden Oozed camo.
Black Ops 7 and Warzone Camo Costume Party Event Rewards
The event features nine weapon-class challenges in each of its four available modes. Every completed challenge grants a standard camo for the relevant weapon category along with 2,500 XP.
Players who complete all nine challenges within a mode receive that mode’s animated Mastery Camo and another 10,000 XP.
The event’s four standard camos are Gray Matter, Zombie Mai Tai, Undergrowth, and Patchwork. Their corresponding animated Mastery Camos are Grubs, Malignant, Gravebloom, and Death Row.
Black Ops 7 Multiplayer Challenges
The Multiplayer portion of the event rewards the Gray Matter camo. Completing all nine challenges also unlocks the animated Grubs Mastery Camo.

Black Ops 7 Zombies Challenges
Zombies players can work toward the Zombie Mai Tai camo, while completing all nine challenges awards the animated Malignant Mastery Camo.

Black Ops 7 Endgame Challenges
The Endgame mode has its own set of objectives, with the Undergrowth camo available for completing individual challenges. Finishing the complete set unlocks the animated Gravebloom Mastery Camo.

Warzone Challenges
Warzone has its own nine challenges, rewarding the Patchwork camo. Completing all of them unlocks the animated Death Row Mastery Camo.

How to Unlock the Oozed Camo
The Oozed camo is the event’s hidden reward and requires considerably more grinding than the other unlocks.
Players must complete every weapon-class challenge across Multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame, and Warzone. That means completing all 36 challenges available throughout the event.
Once all of the required challenges and camos have been completed, the Oozed camo becomes available.
How to Unlock the Arcblade
The Arcblade is considerably easier to obtain.
Rather than completing every challenge, players only need to finish nine Camo Costume Party challenges across the available modes. The challenges can be completed in any combination, so players can focus on the objectives that best match their preferred playstyle.
This makes the Arcblade a much more accessible reward for players who don’t want to complete the event’s entire challenge list.
Tips for Completing the Camo Costume Party Challenges
Players can make the grind easier by choosing modes and playlists that naturally support the requirements of their selected challenges.
For Black Ops 7 Multiplayer, objective-based modes such as Domination and Hordepoint can provide useful opportunities for objective kills and weapon-specific eliminations.
In Zombies, upgrading weapons with Pack-a-Punch and gathering groups of enemies can help players work through large elimination requirements more efficiently. This can also help with Critical Kill objectives.
Endgame challenges involving Special, Elite, Fear, and other specific enemy types can be easier to complete in higher-threat areas, where these enemies appear more frequently.
Meanwhile, Warzone players can use Casual Resurgence for the event’s challenges. The mode’s bots and respawn opportunities can make it easier to accumulate kills, particularly when using weapon classes that aren’t part of a player’s usual loadout.
When Does the Camo Costume Party Event End?
The Camo Costume Party Event began alongside Season 6 on September 17 and runs until October 8 at 9am PT / 11am CT / 12pm ET / 5pm BST.
That gives players roughly three weeks to complete the challenges and claim the available rewards. Once the event ends, its camos can no longer be unlocked.
With 36 challenges available across four modes, players aiming for the hidden Oozed camo will need to plan their time carefully before the event expires.
