Sand Sailor Studio and Thunderful have released the biggest content update yet for their hit Early Access Viking-themed open-world survival colony builder, ASKA. The massive “Seaborne Raiders” update is available now, introducing naval exploration, raiding mechanics, two new biomes, a new boss, a new faction, and even a monstrous sea creature lurking beneath the waves.
Take to the Seas in Seaborne Raiders
For the first time, players can set sail across the open ocean to discover and raid new islands. Establish temporary outposts, gather rare resources, and battle rival factions before returning home with your loot.
The update also adds the Salt Flats biome, where players can face off against Ravendrake, a powerful flying boss. Defeating it unlocks Golem technology, a new type of villager that never tires, never hungers, and works endlessly to grow your Viking settlement.
Alongside the Salt Flats, the Marsh Lands biome and a host of scattered islands expand ASKA’s world with undead enemies, new challenges, and hidden rewards. But beware, beneath the ocean lurks the terrifying Whaleslug, waiting to strike unsuspecting sailors.
Build, Survive, and Conquer Together
In ASKA, players must build and sustain a thriving Viking tribe, guiding intelligent NPC villagers who work, craft, hunt, and fight by your side. Survive the elements, explore procedurally generated worlds, and prepare for mythical battles against legendary creatures.
Play solo or in co-op with up to three friends and forge your legend across the frozen north.
