The cryptocurrency exchange company Coinbase expands further into esports with BIG partnership.
Coinbase is one of the biggest cryptocurrency exchange companies in the world right now and keeps on expanding further into esports day-by-day. The company announced its partnership with ESL Gaming a month ago and now it got all the spotlights on it once again with another agreement with BIG.
BIG revealed the partnership from social media and the official website. According to the announcement, Coinbase will become a premium partner of BIG’s CS:GO roster and receive its brand and content rights for further projects.
The projects are not clear yet but looking at the big picture, the projects will evolve virtually for people’s use. Coinbase Germany Manager Sascha Rangoonwala proved it with his words; “Our aim is to give people the tools they need to use digital assets to their advantage.”
BIG’s CEO Daniel Finkler added; “The world of cryptocurrencies is an enormously exciting space, and it is my ambition to make more people aware of this rapidly growing ecosystem.” Both companies will benefit from the partnership and work together on the road to glory.
Coinbase is a tool for people to buy or sell cryptocurrencies in a safe and simple place and it has attracted over 60 million users so far.
Cryptocurrency X Esports
Cryptocurrency partnerships in esports have become more popular than ever in recent weeks. As both ecosystems get bigger every day and share common areas in their separated industries, it becomes easier for the companies to cross paths. Esports and cryptocurrency exchange partnerships may eventually grow in the future.
CS:GO is the main deal for the BIG organization and the team lost one of its most valuable players Can “Xantares” Dörtkardeş a while ago. To fill Xantares’ shoes, BIG acquired Nicklas “gade” Gade from HYENAS. We have not seen the team play yet with the newly-formed roster.
