When it comes to the best carries Dota 2 has a wide variety of heroes players can try to dominate the game and take out the enemy’s Ancient.
On the current 7.34c patch, there are a few top performing heroes who can lead the game in the First Position to take over the game.
With the International 2023 soon approaching, players will want to get a head start on which faces might be common at the world championship.

Best Carries in Dota 2
One of the most notable heroes right now is Spectre. As a melee carry with a weak lane phase, Spectre will need help to farm up. Once she gets her gold and experience, though, Spectre can use her high damage and respectable mobility to take over fights.
Two other carry heroes to try right now in Dota 2 are Chaos Knight and Wraith King. Both are highly flexible with utility in other lanes, and an all-around solid kit that lets them fulfill different roles.
The Logitech G502 X line features a new way to game with its innovative hybrid switches for speed, precision, and lightweight.
As carries, they can use their bulk and crowd control tools to set up fights before sweeping through with superior damage.
Riki is also performing as one of the best right now. His excellent disabling and escape abilities gives him some leeway to while farming up his needed resources.
Once he’s onlline, Riki becomes a terror for opponents, stalking the map unseen to burst on an unsuspecting enemy.
However, the Dota 2 carry hero standing head and shoulders above everyone else this patch is Phantom Assassin.

What is Phantom Assassin good at?
The Phantom Assassin is dominating the game with a massive pickrate of 25.74% and an equally impressive 52.36% winrate.
The Phantom Assassin is excellent at navigating fights to hit priority targets and auto-attack them down.
Her Stifling Dagger (Q) can slow enemies to keep them in range for her attacks. Consequently, it pairs well with her Phantom Strike (W). With Phantom Strike, the PA can teleport to a unit and gain attack speed and lifesteal.
Blur (E) passively grants PA evasion to dodge enemy auto-attacks, making PA extremely good at taking fights with other attack speed carries. When activated, it also gives her invisibility until near enemies, helping her ambush key targets.
Her Coup de Grace ultimate ability is passive, making PA much easier to control for newer players. Despite that ease-of-access, it’s no less potent as huge damage buff to her auto-attacks, granting her enormous critical hit damage as well as increasing critical chance.

And of course, if the player wants to add another layer to PA’s versatility, they can invest in Aghanim’s Shard to gain the Fan of Knives (D) ability for an area-of-effect burst of damage around PA.
This helps PA deal with multiple at threats at once to bring her team-fighting power closer to her dueling prowess.
All of this combines to make Phantom Assassin one of the best carries in Dota 2.
