Atlanta FaZe have announced the arrival of Austin “SlasheR” Liddicoat for the upcoming season of Call of Duty League.
Atlanta FaZe failed to win the championship last year after falling to Los Angeles Thieves in the Grand Final. This year, they have let Alec “Arcitys” Sanderson go to Los Angeles Guerrillas to make a roster change. In return, the Atlanta FaZe picked Austin “SlasheR” Liddicoat from the Guerrillas to complete their Call of Duty League 2023 roster.
Current Atlanta FaZe Roster
- Tyler “aBeZy” Pharris
- McArthur “Cellium” Jovel
- Chris “Simp” Lehr
- Austin “SlasheR” Liddicoat
- James “Crowder” Crowder (Head Coach)
Atlanta FaZe formed one of the best Call of Duty League rosters in history a while ago. The roster competed in the first ever final of the tournament but during that time they had MajorManiak and Priestahh instead of Arcitys. With the arrival of Arcitys, FaZe won their first-ever trophy next year. Last year, they reached the final stage once again but lost to Los Angeles Thieves. As a result, the team made another change and let Arcitys go.
SlasheR will fill his shoes in the upcoming Call of Duty League season. The experienced player competed for different teams throughout his career. He signed with OpTic Gaming LA in the first season of CDL and then joined the Los Angeles Thieves. He lastly played for the Los Angeles Guerrilas before leaving the team to join Atlanta FaZe. Before his Call of Duty League journey began, he played for very important teams including FaZe Clan, Team Envy, Rise Nation, and 100 Thieves.
Atlanta FaZe will compete with aBeZy, Cellium, Simp, and SlasheR next season. The core has stayed with the team again but the last piece has changed. Atlanta FaZe will try to hunt the cup one more time next season and SlasheR may be the missing piece to help them achieve their goals.
