Astralis have introduced their roster for LEC 2023, featuring Finn, 113, Dajor, Kobbe, and the South Korean support JeongHoon.
Astralis haven’t had bright times in the history of LEC. The organization made its entrance to the scene in LEC 2021 Spring and placed 9th. Recently, Astralis finished the season at the ninth place again and they made some roster changes before the 2023 season. According to the announcement, Dajor, Kobbe, and JeongHoon have remained within the organization. The Swedish top laner Finn has joined from EXCEL Esports and 113 will be the new jungler, who recently parted ways with Karmine Corp.
Astralis LEC 2023 Roster
- Finn “Finn” Wiestål
- Doğukan “113” Balcı
- Oliver “Dajor” Ryppa
- Kasper “Kobbe” Kobberup
- Lee “JeongHoon” Jeong-hoon
Finn had a great run with Rogue back in 2020. He placed third at LEC 2020 Summer Playoffs and competed at Worlds 2020. After that year, he joined the North American team Counter Logic Gaming but his time in NA was not very impressive. He then joined EXCEL and made his return to Europe. He spent two years with EXCEL and now he will continue to compete at the highest level in Europe under the Astralis roof. Secondly, the Turkish player, 113 will be his teammate. The young jungler started his professional career with SuperMassive Academy and then joined Giants. He lastly played for Karmine Corp alongside Cabochard and Rekkles and won the EU Masters trophy.
Astralis decided to change the top side of the map for LEC 2023 season. Last year, Vizicsacsi and Xerxe filled the spots but the team placed ninth, missing the playoffs by a huge margin. Dajor, Kobbe, and JeongHoon are going to remain with the team and welcome their new teammates. 113 is a young jungler with great mechanics and Finn has had impressive experience throughout his career.
