Armored Core 6 Combat Log Locations & Why You Should Find Them
In Armored Core 6, collecting combat logs is essential to boost your Hunter rank and unlock new parts.
Don’t worry if you missed them on your current playthrough, as you can replay any mission at any time.
Although we get new mech parts after completing missions, a lot of the key parts are locked behind our Hunter rank.
We are going through Chapter 1 logs, as these are some of the easiest and quickest to get. By getting all the Chapter 1 logs, we can prepare ourselves for the harder missions that come later. This is also a great method for those on their current or new playthrough.
Chapter 1 Combat Log Locations
Here’s the complete list of Chapter 1’s combat log locations for all six missions:
1. Mission 4 – Destroy the Transport Helicopters
During this mission, you can find the Tetrapod MT among the last group of target Transport helicopters. Defeating it is optional but we want to destroy it for the Log. Keep your distance and avoid his plasma sword lunges.
2. Mission 5 – Destroy the Tester
The Tester AC is the primary objective of this mission. Approach the helicopter to initiate a one-on-one battle. He is only a rookie so easy money. Just try hard to not feel bad about the awful thing you just did.
3. Mission 6 – Attack the Dam Complex
In this mission, there are two combat logs to be collected: a. Locate another Tetrapod MT by sticking to the right of the level past the second generator target. b. Find the Burn Pickaxe AC on the ice field below the final target. It will engage you over the radio. The friendly Balam NPCs can serve as distractions during the battle. So long as they are with you both fights are easy.
4. Mission 8 – Oper
To obtain this log, you must destroy a trio of MTs located on the western side of the level near some destroyed mechs. Look for their distinctive glowing turquoise lights on the front. Easy grab from these mechs.
5. Mission 9 – Retrieve Combat Logs
In this mission, you have a tight four-minute window to collect at least five combat logs. Use Assault Boost to quickly navigate to the crashed warship’s left side, where you’ll encounter Little Ziyi. Defeat her before focusing on the mission objective.
6. Mission 11 – Attack the Watchpoint
Midway through this mission, you’ll encounter Sulla, the toughest opponent you’ve faced so far. Defeating him is necessary to progress and acquire his Battle Log. Stay on your robot toes for this one as he does some serious damage.
