Valve have released the newest Animgraph 2 update for Counter Strike 2!
This new update looks to fix bugs from the last tweak and adjust peaking.
But has it fixed the game up or has it added in new bugs instead?
Animgraph 2 Update
Although the Animgraph 2 update is out today this patch has been in Beta since April 1st. But now it is here for everybody playing the base game. This update aims to boost fps and game performance in line with animations.

Valve have actually accomplished this by completely redoing 3rd person animations. You will notice a stark difference from CSGO to 2 and then post update. Because now players are noticing different and more noticeable walking animations.
Although players online are already saying that the game feels a lot better with this change up. Movement is more fluid and scoping in on players feels just right and more rewarding.
However, some players are even saying that the update makes it feel more like CSGO. But the key take away is that Awping as a whole feel more consistent. Headshots feel very gratifying and happen instantly.

Meanwhile the biggest change Animgraph 2 brings is how it feels to hold an angle. Thanks to the tweaks players are noting it feels a whole lot better holding an angle compared to wide swinging. Because before the update peakers advantage was a massive problem everyone could feel.
But now holding an angle actually gives the defender the advantage and not the other way around. Also to note that there is no more silent ladder climbing as steps are a guarantee to be heard.
Also, minor tweaks to knife swings and weapon pull outs have been made on top of these other changes.
But of course, there are some changes that Valve did not intend to make that have popped up!
The Only Good Bug
Firstly, some players post the Animgraph 2 update are just not loading up at all! Some players have noted crashes on X. However, the old tried and true method has worked to fix this for some.
For those crashing removes launch options, delete user data folder and verify the game files. Or just uninstall and reinstall! But for some they have to hop into their Steam user data files found most commonly in cprogramsx86/Steam/USERDATA.

However, the biggest and saddest bug of all is the burst fire centipede that breaks the game. Players are able to wreck others with both the Famas and Glock burst fire modes. Because this bug allowed players to fire 3 bullets all at once rather than spread out.
Effectively this turned both guns into snipers that could kill players in milliseconds via spam clicking. However, Valve caught wind and they have already patched this out of the game.
Overall Animgraph 2 has been a welcomed patch to the fans as it shows Valve making positive changes to the performance and feels side of the game.

However, one big missing feature was the severe lack of a Cache map. So, hope they hop on that little thing quick because it has been over 3 years!
But in short yeah this is a good update as a whole and makes peakers advantage much less annoying.
