The off-season roster shuffle continues for teams out of the Valorant Champions Tour, and Andbox has announced their newest member ALEKSANDAR.
ALEKSANDAR to Andbox Valorant
Andbox revealed on September 20 that Aleksandar “ALEKSANDAR” Hinojosa would be joining its Valorant roster. ALEKSANDAR has been a free agent since being dropped by Evil Geniuses earlier in June. Before that, he was with Moon Racoons.
After a brief trial that saw him compete under Andbox at the Nerdstreet Gamer Summer Championships and Community Gaming Premier Series finale, Andbox finally decided to make Hinojosa a permanent fixture on its roster.
Anbox’s new member
During his trial period with Andbox, ALEKSANDAR filled the Skye/secondary duelist role. He churned out impressive performances during the NSG: Summer Championships, top-fragging for his team in most servers.
ALEXANDAR on Skye has an impressive 245.2 ACS and 1.40 KD in the seventeen maps he’s picked. With the current meta, we don’t expect him to drop the Australian Valorant agent anytime soon. However, since it’s the off-season, there’s no word when we’ll see him compete again.
Incomplete roster
As of writing, Andbox has three roster spots filled. The team’s star duelist Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker, joined Envy. They also released Noah “jcStani” Smith and Sebastian “seb” Bucki in the middle of the year. Andbox was left with Adam “mada” Pampuch and Daniel “vice” Kim, the team’s IGL.
Both Michael “neT” Bernet from Squirtle Squad and Elysium and Austin “Cooper “ Abadir from Swole Patrol was trialed by Andbox with ALEKSANDAR. However, no announcement about their joining the roster permanently has been made. Most recently, neT has played for the Pittsburgh Knights in their monthly gauntlet last August.
With Masters Berlin finally concluded and the final list of teams for the Last Chance Qualifiers announced, the off-season roster shuffles are in full swing. Stay tuned for more news on Valorant’s most significant player transfers and signings.
