Amazon Music, the audio streaming service, has been announced as the latest sponsor of the 2022 Esports Awards.
Esports Awards is dedicated to showcasing top-class international performance and innovation from, amongst others, the players, teams, media, hardware providers, games, events, and personalities within the scene. In addition to Amazon Music, the Esports Awards sponsors include Lexus, Verizon, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
The two parties will collaborate on the ceremony to show ‘the synergy between music and competitive gaming.’
“Music is such a growing part of gaming culture, and we couldn’t name a better sponsor to help us showcase this. It also wouldn’t be an Esports Awards celebration without a killer music playlist, and I can’t wait for everyone to experience what we have been working on with Amazon Music,” commented Michael Ashford, CEO of the Esports Awards.
Amazon Music will be present at the Esports Games of the Year award and will create a playlist for the awards ceremony. The playlist will feature several global, local and independent artists.
