“The First Blood King” Tyler “aBeZy” Pharris won the CDL Playoffs MVP award with his incredible individual performance and KDA during playoffs.
The Atlanta FaZe roster had so much firepower and game IQ considering the CDL season in general but some of these players stepped up above and beyond what was expected of them. Chris “Simp” Lehr was considered as the most talented player on the roster but during the Championship Stage, aBeZy made the biggest difference. aBeZy got his reward in style on the stage and his teammates congratulated him.
After the Grand Final game came to an end, fans had different ideas on the MVP as the award included all the playoff games in general. McArthur “Cellium” Jovel led his team in K/D during the Grand Final and aBeZy was right behind him. All of the Atlanta FaZe players had phenomenal performances but aBeZy stepped up with his first blood ratio and SnD performance.
aBeZy: MVP-worthy performance in 2021
The talented player ended the season with 3,237 kills and 2,957 deaths in total. He turned into a beast during playoffs, excluding his performance against the Minnesota ROKKR with 0.87 K/D. aBeZy had his best performance against the New York Subliners with 1.13 K/D to carry his team to the Winners Final.
Apart from his Stage 5 and Championship numbers, the 21-year old player had outstanding games during the first four stages. Almost all of his K/Ds were over 1.0 both in groups and Majors. His K/D dropped below 1.0 only once and it was because of the Minnesota game.
Considering the 2021 Call of Duty League season in general, Simp led the league in overall K/D, Control Kill Per 10M, and Control K/D. On the other hand, aBeZy made the difference in Search and Destroy, leading the league in SnD Kill Per Round and SnD First Blood Rate.
