What Format Will The PGL Antwerp Major Be?
All matches at the Champions Stage will be bo3s, with a single-elimination format being used to determine how far each team progresses.
The current competitive CS:GO map pool will once again be used across the stage, which currently includes the following:
So far at the Major, Mirage has been the most popular map pick, having been played 14 times so far. The newest maps in the pool in Ancient and Vertigo are tied with the famous decider in Inferno as the next most-popular pick with 9 plays each, whilst Dust II is the least played map so far with just two matches.
PGL Antwerp Major: Champions Stage Teams
Having whittled the original 24 qualified teams at the Major down to the final eight during the Challengers and Legends stages, the Champions stage teams have been drawn together based on their seeding at the latter point of the tournament.

Who Is Going To Win The 2022 PGL Antwerp Major?
The 2022 PGL Antwerp Major has already delivered plenty of dramatic matches and surprising storylines, which makes predicting the upcoming Champions Stage that much harder. Imperial’s run to the Legends stage was undoubtedly the upset run of the event so far, however, G2’s elimination along with the likes of Cloud9 and Vitality also deserve a mention.
In terms of the teams left standing, it’s hard to look past FaZe Clan or NAVI as the favourites to go all the way.
FaZe are the number one ranked team in the world and won the last stage event at IEM Katowice, whilst NAVI are the current Major Champions after their win at PGL Stockholm last year.
But you also shouldn’t count out an outsider like Team Spirit. The CIS-led org went a flawless 3-0 in the Legends Stage, and only dropped one map against G2 in the Challengers.
